Bloxx Pics serves your images from Cloudflare's network and changes them on the way out: size, shape, crop, format, quality. The editing instructions live in the link, so a page can ask for exactly the size it needs.

Every version comes from one upload. No copies to keep in order. This sample was generated with Bloxx and hosted like any other image.

How it works
1

Upload once

One original per image. Alt text is required, so images arrive described.

2

Ask for what the page needs

w_, h_, ar_, c_fill, g_auto, g_face, f_auto, q_, dpr_, e_grayscale, e_blur. Off-menu values snap to the nearest supported one and redirect to the canonical link, which is the one that stays cached.

3

Let assistants read it too

<image>.json gives an AI the real size, the alt text and the ready-made sizes before it uses the picture.

Questions
Where are images served from?

Cloudflare's network, from the bloxx.pics domain.

Do I need to configure a CDN?

No. Uploading is the configuration.

Can I point it at images I host elsewhere?

Not yet. Bloxx serves images you upload to it, and can copy one in from a public https link.

What does it cost?

Uploading needs a free Bloxx account. Pricing beyond that is not published yet: ask at hello@itsbloxx.com.
